Jack passed his Herding Instinct Test with
flying colors!
Jack passed his 3rd Rally leg today to earn his title of "RN"

Jack has begun his training to be a Service Dog for Jan Storm's mom, Bunny.
Jack takes his work very seriously & is following in his mother's footsteps.
We are so proud of him. Under the guide and excellent training provided by
Carrie and Jan,
so far Jack has ridden a public bus, gone to a restaurant, shopped in grocery stores (without sampling!) and visited several stores. Next trip will be to the mall!
We will keep you up to date with his progress!

June 28, 1996 - May 1, 2007
It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to our beloved Miss Betty.
She has touched the hearts and souls of so many while here on this earth and
now she is running free and without pain with all the other doggies at
the Rainbow Bridge.
Thank you Miss Betty for sharing your life and love with us.
We will see you again. Until then, keep watch over us and know how
very much we love you.

Making sure all was well with the new puppies
Feeling a little chilly, I covered her with my sweater
while she babysat for Mindy
It is an honor to have had "Miss Betty",
Ch. Kings Valley Quicken, PT,TC,TDI
as part of our family. Thank you Eva and Leslie Rappaport for sharing
her with us. She came to us after retiring from many years of being the
center of the breeding program at Kings Valley Collies as well as an Assistance Dog.
She is Jacks mother and Troys great grandmother! She enjoyed her retirement years at Sunland Collies spending time on the couch, taking walks, and playing with the other Collies, but her favorite passtime.... "poodle herding" ! Of course, being a professional, all we had to do was say, "Miss Betty, That'll Do" and she quickly left them alone.
Miss Betty also spent time visiting the elderly and helping
children with their reading as a member of
Therapy Dogs, Inc. and the R.E.A.D. program.
